Contract | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department serving newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Manage and respond to common critical diagnoses including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
• Operate specialty equipment including Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun as needed
• Float to other units as required to meet staffing needs
• Perform triage and deliver care across acute, super track, trauma, CDU, and psychiatric care areas within a 64-bed department
• Demonstrate charge nurse capability when called upon

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered New York State RN license (verified via NURSYS)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience, including some pediatric experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Current AHA certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS
• NIHSS certification required
• TNCC certification required and must be in hand at time of submission
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Charge nurse experience in an emergency department setting
• Experience caring for psychiatric patients in an ED environment
• Familiarity with block scheduling environments and flexible shift assignments
