Let's build something together.Purpose of Position: The Project Engineer is responsible for managing a project's engineering and technical aspects. This includes coordinating with the project team, contractors, and suppliers, resolving any construction issues and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Additionally, the Project Engineer provides technical support and guidance to project team members. They review, manage, and analyze appropriate documentation and perform tasks in support of project needs.What We Offer:Competitive base salary of $50,000 to $70,000 US per year D.O.ECompany paid benefits including Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, AD&D, STD, & LTDOptional insurance coverage includes Accident, Critical Illness, and Hospital insurance401 (K) with Company Match up to 4%Paid Vacation, Sick, and HolidaysExcellent company cultureJob Location: Boise, Idaho Reporting Structure: The Project Engineer reports directly to the Regional Manager Primary Responsibilities:Review and analyze material costs for purchaseManage change orders and subcontractor invoicesReview and Manage work orders and shop drawings, purchase orders, and change ordersConsult with project team, contractors, and suppliers to resolve any construction problemPerform tasks as directed by the PM in support of project needsCost estimating and quantity take-offsDocumentation distribution and logging (RFI, Site Instructions, Meeting Minutes, etc.)Experience, Education & Qualifications:Diploma or BSc Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field is an assetAble to interpret blueprints, specifications, inspection reports, etc.Skilled at managing relationships with subcontractors and vendorsProven negotiation skills and ability to track change orders with both owners and subcontractorsAble to manage multiple projects and tasks at a timeConsistent ability to meet sensitive timelinesStrong knowledge of MS Office suite including MS Excel, and MS ProjectSkills & Proficiencies:Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a teamThoughtful and confident decision-making and high ethical standardsGood verbal and written communication skillsGood interpersonal skills and a high level of professionalismProblem-solving skills and the ability to think and react quickly under pressureService-oriented approach in working with technical and non-technical stakeholdersHigh attention to detail and high level of organization required to prioritize and manage multiple tasksCareer-minded individual seeking an opportunity for future growthOcean Park Mechanical is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and encourages applicants of all backgrounds.
