We are a busy Urology office seeking a compassionate and energetic Medical Assistant to join our medium-sized team of 4-7 assistants. This role focuses on providing excellent patient care by managing patient intake, assisting in clinical procedures, handling documentation, and supporting smooth office operations. The Medical Assistant will report to the Office Manager and work closely with physicians to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient follow-up using specific electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient intake and coordinate appointments
• Perform blood draws and assist with clinical procedures
• Document patient information accurately in medical records
• Handle test results and communicate with patients
• Answer phone calls and respond to patient messages
• Support patient follow-up through regular calls
• Maintain medical records using EHR systems
• Provide general office and administrative support

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years’ experience in medical assisting
• Certificate or diploma in Medical Assisting
• Phlebotomy skills
• Knowledge of medical documentation and EHR
• Strong time management and organizational abilities
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
