Title : Sr. Mechanical Engineer (Must Have INSTRON) Location : Franklin Lakes, NJ Contract Term : 12+ Months Shift/Hours : 1st Shift (8-9am to 4-5pm) / 40hrs Client : Medical Device Company Job Category : Engineering Employment Type : Contract on W2 (Need US Citizens or GC Holders Only) – No H1B’s General Function This Associate will be responsible for technical excellence in areas pertaining to both biological science and mechanical testing for new product design & development. The ideal candidate will demonstrate: Design-build-test experience Ability to develop and execute test methods and conduct data analysis Competency in documentation and writing technical reports Can-do positive attitude and collaborative approach to problem-solving Solid hands‑on technical skill Application of engineering fundamentals Requirements BS degree in engineering (Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering preferred) 2+ years of engineering experience, preferably in medical devices Demonstrated ability to utilize statistical tools and computer analysis Experience with general mechanical testing equipment such as INSTRON Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills Demonstrated successful learning agility Responsibilities Conduct test procedures for the chemistry, biological science, and clinical laboratories Conduct mechanical test procedures on INSTRON equipment Co‑develop and execute studies investigating and troubleshooting technical issues Prepare written technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses of assigned projects Special Skills Experience handling biological specimens, particularly human clinical samples, is desirable Knowledge of procedures for blood‑borne pathogen safety is necessary and will be provided Self‑motivated with a strong sense of urgency and willingness to conduct hands‑on work #J-18808-Ljbffr MillenniumSoft Inc
