Job Description General Gastroenterology (with ERCP) Opportunity in North Texas Methodist Medical Group (MMG) a premier physician-led organization affiliated with Methodist Health System in Dallas, Texas, is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Orthopedic Surgeon to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be a board-certified or board-eligible, General Gastroenterology Physician to diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of gastrointestinal disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled surgeon who is passionate about providing care for GI conditions and will specialize in diagnosis and treatment, including both operative and non-operative care. RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, including ERCPs, colonoscopy, and upper endoscopy Manage a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, such as inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease, GERD Provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Participate in on-call rotations Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with the latest advancements in gastroenterology QUALIFICATIONS: Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited medical school Board-certified or board-eligible in Gastroenterology Current and unrestricted Texas medical license or eligibility for licensure Completion of an accredited Gastroenterology fellowship program Experience with a variety of endoscopic procedures Excellent clinical, diagnostic, and communication skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care BENEFITS: Competitive salary and benefits package Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays Continuing education allowance 403(b) retirement plan with employer match Professional development opportunities Come join Methodist Medical Group and make a difference in the communities we serve.
