Filter Shop Technician (Light Assembly) - Sanford, NC
We are seeking a Filter Shop Technician to join our team in a dynamic manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for working in a team environment to manufacture high quality filtration modules for various industrial applications. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment, contributing to the creation of intricate filtration technology.
Duties:
- Semi-skilled equipment operation
- Robotic glue dispensing
- Sheeting (push button unwind/rewind)
- Die Cutting (10 ton press double palm button)
- Layer Stacking (light manual)
- Other ancillary duties in the shop
- Laser cutter (load and push button)
- Assembly/Packaging
- Load/unload modules in/from the test stand (bolt/unbolt)
- Assist in the preparation of final packaging
- General/Utility
- Straightening the work area
- Cleaning end of shift
- Organization improvement in the work area
Skills/Requirements:
- Excellent attendance
- Highly detail oriented (more craftsman than assembly line)
- Quality-first mindset
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds infrequently
- Familiarity with torque wrench and other small hand tools
- Clean and organized work style
- Ability to travel infrequently (domestic) up to 25% after training (maximum)
- Functional writing skills
- Good communication skills
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work overtime as required
- HS graduate (minimum)
- Prior relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
