Role Description The Assistant Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in the Redding–Red Bluff area. This position supports daily store operations, including supervising sales associates, opening and closing the store, managing cash handling, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. The Assistant Manager helps drive sales by coaching team members, modeling excellent customer service, and ensuring that customers receive knowledgeable guidance on jewelry and accessories. Responsibilities include monitoring inventory, assisting with scheduling, supporting training for new team members, and upholding company policies and procedures. The role also involves contributing to local marketing initiatives, maintaining a safe and inclusive store environment, and partnering with the Store Manager on performance and sales goals. Qualifications Retail sales and customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport, understand customer needs, and provide product recommendations. Team leadership and coaching skills, including experience supervising staff, giving feedback, and supporting a positive, inclusive work culture. Store operations skills such as cash handling, point‑of‑sale system use, inventory handling, and adherence to company policies and procedures. Basic merchandising and visual presentation skills, with attention to detail in maintaining displays and store appearance. Clear communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with customers, teammates, and management. Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise as needed, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior experience in retail or customer‑facing roles; jewelry sales or luxury retail experience is a plus but not required.
