Engineering Leader - Remote Operations Center, Day Shift

- Provide daily leadership, mentorship, and career development for a team of ROC Engineers
- Drive ROC standard work to optimize remote monitoring tools, increase fleet availability, decrease case duration, and enhance customer experience
- Manage operational budgets, staffing requirements, and shift scheduling for 24/7 global coverage
- Set and monitor ROC KPIs, including Mean Time to Repair, Alarm Management efficiency, and Fleet Availability
- Integrate data-driven ROC insights into field maintenance practices and engineering design cycles
- Bridge Digital, Engineering, and Field Operations for technology and knowledge transfer
- Sponsor ROC safety and compliance and ensure processes meet industry standards and internal GEV protocols
- Support incident reviews and drive Lessons Learned sessions
- Ensure compliance with regional Grid Codes and regulatory requirements
- Serve as primary contact for Site Managers, Regional Leaders, and Product Engineering regarding fleet performance
- Represent the ROC in high-level operational reviews and communicate fleet health status to leadership
- Coordinate with Digital/Software teams on diagnostic tool development and fleet-wide logic improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 5–7+ years of experience in Wind Operations, Power Generation, or large-scale remote operations centers
- Strong understanding of wind farm SCADA systems, fleet management software, and diagnostic workflows
- Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive organizational change
- Experience with lean management or operational excellence methodologies
- Experience in grid-scale renewable energy operations and regulatory environments
- Strategic planning and budget management experience
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Successful completion of a drug screen, as applicable
