Do you enjoy helping people get the job done? Are you someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? Cascade Home Center in Brookings Oregon is looking for a Rental Sales Associate to join our team and be the go-to expert for our tool and equipment rental department!
Requirements
What You'll Do:
- Assist customers with renting tools and equipment — from lawn mowers to power drills and everything in between
- Provide knowledgeable advice on usage, safety, and availability
- Inspect equipment before and after rental for damage, cleanliness, and functionality
- Maintain accurate rental records, handle payments, and schedule returns
- Keep the rental area clean, organized, and well-stocked
- Collaborate with the sales floor team to provide great customer service
What We're Looking For:
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- A knack for tools, machinery, and DIY projects (experience a big plus!)
- Comfortable using computers or rental software
- Able to lift up to 50lbs and work on your feet
- Detail-oriented and reliable
Bonus Points:
- Prior experience in a hardware store or rental department
- Mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience with tools
