Assembly Lead

Crusoe is on a mission to accelerate the abundance of energy and intelligence. As the only vertically integrated AI infrastructure company built from the ground up, we own and operate each layer of the stack — from electrons to tokens — to power the world's most ambitious AI workloads. When you join Crusoe, you join a team that is building the future, faster.

We're in the midst of the greatest industrial revolution of our time. The demand for AI compute is boundless, and power is a bottleneck. We're solving that — with an energy-first approach that makes AI infrastructure better for the world and faster for the people innovating with AI.

We're looking for problem-solving, opportunity-finding teammates with a sense of urgency, who believe in the scale of our ambition and thrive on a path not fully paved — people who want to grow their careers alongside a team of experts across energy, manufacturing, data center construction, and cloud services.

If you want to do the most meaningful work of your career, help our customers and partners advance their AI strategies, and be part of a high-performing team that believes in each other, come build with us at Crusoe.

Join Crusoe Energy as an Assembly Lead and spearhead the building assembly of our innovative manufactured products and components. You will be responsible for overseeing a dedicated team that performs the building assembly of manufactured products and components to completion. This full-time, hands-on role is crucial for maintaining production flow and upholding our commitment to quality, as you'll ensure every product is installed and finished with precision. You will review work orders to guarantee your team has all necessary resources—including hardware, components, and in-house parts—while coordinating with other department leads to proactively prevent material shortages. If you possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for operational excellence, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

  • Product labeling and compliance: Oversee the review and proper installation of company logos, labeling, NEMA Ratings, and UL information on all finished products.
  • Production schedule coordination: Coordinate seamlessly with the production manager and department leads to ensure strict adherence to schedules, promptly communicating any changes to Project Management and Sales to maintain internal alignment.
  • Continuous process improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within your work team, focusing on enhancing procedures, processes, and methods to ensure safety and quality in every task.
  • Work area and inventory management: Maintain an organized work area, keep parts inventory accurate, and manage materials efficiently to proactively prevent production delays.
  • Team resource and backfill: Act as a flexible floater and vital resource, stepping in to backfill production team members when required to ensure continuous operational flow.

What you'll bring to the team:

  • Leadership & development experience: Background leading, coaching, and developing a manufacturing team. Proven success improving team members' performance and abilities.
  • Manufacturing experience: Background working in industrial or heavy manufacturing
  • Mechanical aptitude: Possess a high level of mechanical aptitude for understanding assembly processes and troubleshooting equipment.

  • Computer operation: Requires constant use of arms, hands, fingers, eyes, legs, and back to efficiently operate computers and related equipment.
  • Communication skills: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, coupled with a strong attention to detail.
  • Drawing & material interpretation: Ability to accurately read blueprints, schematics, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to independently identify, locate, and verify all necessary parts and hardware before beginning assembly.
  • Learning agility and problem solving: Eager to learn with strong listening, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to address operational challenges effectively.
  • Professionalism and responsibility: A highly motivated self-starter who consistently demonstrates professionalism and willingly accepts responsibility for team outcomes.
  • Team player mentality: Proven ability to perform as a collaborative team player, consistently showing a positive attitude towards colleagues, and striving for constant improvement in processes and delivery.
  • Project persistence: An abundance of patience to see complicated projects through to successful completion.
