Clayton Valley Dance Academy in Concord, CA is looking for a passionate and talented Dance Teacher to inspire students of all ages and skill levels. If you love sharing your love of dance and making a lasting impact on young performers, we want to hear from you! We are currently looking to hire a teacher for our 2026-2027 season. Classes include all styles for all ages and levels. We are looking to hire 1-2 new teachers to join our team and become a part of our dance family long term. Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging dance instruction across styles such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, or contemporary
- Teach students of varying ages and skill levels in a positive, structured class environment
- Develop age-appropriate choreography for recitals, showcases, and performances
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support growth
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom atmosphere
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and studio staff
- Assist with studio events, recitals, and special performances as needed
- Prior experience teaching dance in a studio, school, or recreational setting
- Proficiency in one or more dance styles (ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, lyrical, etc.)
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
- Ability to work with children and teens of all experience levels
- Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
- Passion for dance education and student development
