Position Details

Location: IU Health West Hospital - Avon, IN

Schedule:

Full-Time
Saturday, Sunday, Monday
6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

As a CT Technologist, you will:

Operate CT imaging equipment and position patients for examinations
Perform patient screening and contrast safety assessments
Obtain IV access and administer contrast when appropriate
Select and execute appropriate scanning protocols
Produce high-quality diagnostic images
Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare teams
Follow radiation safety standards and quality control procedures
Document patient information within the electronic medical record
Provide exceptional patient care and communication

Qualifications

Required:

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine program
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
ARRT RT(R), ARRT RT(NM), or NMTCB certification
Indiana Radiologic Technologist or Nuclear Medicine Technologist license (or ability to obtain)
CT certification within 12 months of hire
Strong patient care and communication skills

Experience

0-3 years of experience required
New graduates encouraged to apply
