St. Mary's Healthcare has also been named a 2026 Times Union Top Workplace—the first acute care hospital in the Capital Region to earn the distinction since the Times Union launched the recognition program 15 years ago.Hiring range: Starting at $130,000.00 salariedResponsibilities:Directs the development and implementation of practices, policies and procedures in all functional areas of the department.Accountable for department staffing and capacityOversees the development, monitoring of and compliance with departmental budget(s).Utilizes broad knowledge of applicable statutory, regulatory and administrative requirements to directDevelops and maintains effective, collaborative relationships with all site leadership, specialties, departments including other specialty managers, associates and related vendors.Implements specialty quality initiatives in the areas of patient safety, the Joint Commission, specialty accreditation, and performance improvement.Participates in the development and administration of both long-term and annual capital plans which include facilities, systems and equipment. Implements and monitors compliance with revenue integrity processes.Licensure/Certification/Registration:Required Credential(s): Pharmacist credentialed from the New York Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Education:Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required.
