Your future role at a glance Location: Elk Grove Village, IL Facility: Ascension Medical Group Department: Cardiology Schedule: Day shift | Full-time Salary range: $39.75 - $56.11 per hour How you'll make an impact in this role Conduct expert phone triage to identify chief complaints and symptoms, prioritizing urgent needs and critical results for immediate action. Partner with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care plans and deliver timely instructions to patients. Streamline clinic operations by managing medication refills, securing prior authorizations, and providing direct support to providers. Triage urgent patient needs, critical results, review testing and lab results Schedule for specialized procedures while providing comprehensive patient education regarding testing and preparation. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. What additional requirements you'll need Must have 3 to 5 years of RN experience in Cardio, ER, Critical Care or Tele.
