Job Summary Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months. Full Time, Rotate. The CT Technologist performs duties directly involved with producing images to detect pathology. Operates equipment safely, maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, medical staff, and patients. Responsibilities Technical Skills Applies knowledge and skills necessary to perform all functions of the job including technical competence in the field. Demonstrates self‑motivation in performing job duties. Follows department policy and procedures to perform all job functions. Patient/Family Education Explains procedures to patients and family, and demonstrates sensitivity with respect to the family and/or significant other as an individual family unit. Provides privacy for patients. Equipment Maintenance Operates all equipment in a safe and effective manner according to the manufacturer’s guidelines. Resource Management Serves as a resource person and assists in the orientation of new associates regarding compliance with imaging specific policies and procedures. Documentation / Regulatory Compliance Adheres to radiology compliance of JCAHO, MQSA, NRC, and other mandated clinical certifying agencies standards. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate. Required Licensure and Certifications FL State Technologist License; ARRT ARRT with CT Certification (completed within 6 months of hire date) BLS approved by the American Heart Association Organization Description Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center (PBGMC), part of the Palm Beach Health Network, is a 199‑bed acute care hospital serving the Palm Beach County and Treasure Coast communities for over 50 years.
