Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Job Summary Residential Services, Inc. (RSI) is hiring part‑time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) for adult foster care homes in Hibbing, MN. DSPs help people with disabilities and mental illness live their best, most fulfilling lives. No prior experience or certifications required to get started. Compensation Salary: $18.75–$19.25 per hour. Some locations add a premium rate of $1.64 on top of regular hourly wages. Responsibilities As a DSP you will assist in day‑to‑day tasks based on the needs and goals of residents. Duties may include medication administration, household duties, behavioral management, assistance with personal hygiene and medical care, and community activities such as shopping, concerts, dining out, movies, fitness, and outdoor recreation. You will develop meaningful relationships, be part of a person‑centered culture, and support residents 24/7 with various shift times. Schedule Typical 4–8 hour shifts during weekdays and every other weekend. Emphasis on 24/7 support with a variety of shift times. Qualifications Pass a post‑offer background check. Valid driver’s license and ability to pass an MVR check (if working days or evenings).
