Schedule

Assignment Details
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 3 shifts per week

Requirements
- License: Requires Kansas and Missouri licensing or compact license
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Experience: Minimum 2 years RN experience required
- Skills:
- Cardiac telemetry: rhythm interpretation, dysrhythmia management, monitoring
- Post-cardiac care: pre/post cath, post MI, angiogram, post cardiac surgery
- Vascular/IV: central line/PICC care, blood product administration, start/maintain peripheral IVs
- Respiratory: HFNC, CPAP/BiPAP, non-invasive airway, tracheostomy care
- Neurology: stroke/CVA care
- Renal: pre/post hemodialysis management

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered care in a progressive care unit setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, initiating interventions as necessary.
- Administer medications and treatments according to protocols.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient care.
- Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Compliance / Notes
- Weekend requirement: 8 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
- Orientation: 12 hours
- RTO limit: Maximum 7 days
- COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
- Flu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions only)
