Sterling Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center is a 164-bed subacute care and skilled nursing facility located in a tranquil setting in Media, PA. We take pride in providing the community with an array of post-acute services and specialized programs. We are looking for caring and compassionate Occupational Therapists to join our Rehabilitation Team!

Shift Type:

• Per Diem

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Based on findings from the initial evaluation, develop an individualized plan of care to facilitate optimal performance using standardized tests and measures as evidence for improvement.

2. Identify the need for and make a referral to other disciplines to address the comprehensive needs of the patient

3. Provide supervision for Occupational Therapy Assistants, students, and support personnel in accordance with state license requirements and professional standards

4. Perform other duties as assigned and required to provide quality care to residents.

QUALIFICATIONS :

1. Must have graduated from an Occupational Therapist curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE) of the American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA), or its successor organizations.

2. Must be licensed in the state of Pennsylvania

3. Requires good organizational and time management skills

4. Requires good verbal and written communication skills
