Corporate M&A Associate

Wicker Hamilton is partnering with a highly regarded West Los Angeles boutique to hire a mid-level Corporate/M&A Associate. This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of sophisticated middle-market transactions, working within lean deal teams and directly alongside experienced partners. The practice handles private equity buyouts, strategic acquisitions, growth investments and sell-side matters across technology, entertainment, consumer products, healthcare and aerospace. The role: Run transactions day-to-day, from diligence through closing Draft and negotiate purchase agreements and related deal documents Coordinate specialist teams and manage transaction timelines Act as a key contact for clients and opposing counsel Receive direct partner mentorship with a credible path to partnership The ideal candidate: 6–8 years of substantive Corporate/M&A experience Background with an AmLaw firm, strong midsize practice or leading boutique Able to manage transactions independently and provide practical, commercial advice Strong client presence, judgment and communication skills Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship Package and working model: $240,000–$290,000 base, with flexibility for exceptional candidates Competitive bonus and full benefits 1,800 billable-hour target Hybrid working from the firm’s West LA office, with up to three days remote $2,500 annual business-development budget #J-18808-Ljbffr Wicker Hamilton
