HVAC Installation Technician – Lead Residential and Light Commercial System Installations

Job Overview

• Company: AireServ of Northeast Georgia
• Salary/Pay Rate: $19 to $25 per hour plus Commission, Performance Bonuses, and SPIFFs.
• Location: Clarkesville, GA (Travel Required).
• Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
• Primary Working Location: Hybrid.
• Project Scope: Residential and Light Commercial HVAC System Replacement, Ductwork Fabrication, and Equipment Commissioning.
• Mandatory Licences & Certifications: Valid Driver's License.

The Opportunity

You will serve as a vital field professional, driving the installation, craftsmanship, and execution of residential and light commercial HVAC systems. This role allows you to transform design plans into real-world comfort solutions while utilizing a national brand's training resources to accelerate your technical skills. You will have the autonomy to execute clean, code-compliant installations on-site while enjoying the support of a dedicated local coordination team.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Deliver a world-class customer experience by executing clean, professional system installations that showcase high-level craftsmanship.
• Assemble, position, and connect residential split systems, air handlers, furnaces, condensers, and ductwork components cleanly.
• Test and inspect newly installed equipment, performing vital functional tests to ensure optimal heating, cooling, and safety.
• Advise clients on critical system operations, routine maintenance tasks, filter change schedules, and smart home device features.
• Manage accurate digital documentation of installation checklists, equipment serial numbers, and forms on company-provided mobile devices.
• Resolve real-time installation challenges safely while operating in demanding physical environments like hot attics and crawl spaces.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum of 1 to 2 years of dedicated field experience specifically within residential or commercial HVAC installation.
• Proven ability to lift up to 60 lbs regularly during standard equipment placement and heavy mechanical handling.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills necessary for direct, professional interactions with clients and office staff.
• Absolute willingness to stick around until the job is completed and the equipment is fully operational.
• Commitment to continuous learning by actively participating in company-provided technical and professional development programs.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required to operate company fleet vehicles.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Completion of a formal HVAC trade program or equivalent structural apprenticeship training.
• Demonstrated experience installing advanced IAQ products, smart thermostats, and zoning systems.
