TravelNurseSource is working with United Health Care Staffing, Inc. to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Breckenridge, Minnesota, 56520!

Contract Type:  Travel Contract

Shift Type:  Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, D/N rotate, weekends and holidays as scheduled

Hours per Week: 36

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to patients in both ER and MedSurg swing settings
• Respond quickly and effectively to a variety of emergencies in a Trauma Level IV environment
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to ensure seamless patient experiences
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret strips with confidence using Mindray equipment
• Float between ER and MedSurg swing units to support dynamic patient needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong cardiac monitoring and strip interpretation skills
• Ability to manage vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow equipment
• Experience with trauma, STEMI, and stroke patient care
• Excellent communication and critical-thinking abilities
• Flexibility to float between ER and MedSurg swing units

Requirements

• Active RN license in Minnesota or compact state
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience plus previous MedSurg experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
• PALS certification preferred
• Comfortable working independently with on-call support staff
