Inventory Control Specialist

Job description: We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Inventory Control Specialist to manage inventory operations in our facility. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in inventory management or warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, efficient processes, and effective communication with a diverse team and client base. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee daily inventory operations, including receiving, storing, and distributing materials.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Analyze inventory data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Train, coach, and evaluate inventory staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Utilize inventory management systems (IMS) to track inventory and workflow.
• Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory management.
• Prepare and present inventory reports to management.
• Support audits and reporting requirements as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in inventory management or warehouse operations.
• Fluent in both English and Spanish (verbal and written).
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.
• Proven track record in improving inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Proficiency in inventory management systems (IMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.

• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Familiarity with EDI and TMS systems.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
