RN - Operating Room (OR)

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Needham is seeking an RN for the Operating Room (OR). This is a travel position with a start date of 08/24/2026 and an end date of 11/21/2026, totaling 13 weeks. The shifts are 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, three times a week for a total of 36 scheduled hours per week. The contract includes up to two weekends per month, either on call or working shifts. On-call times are 30 minutes, and there is a short call shift once a week from 3a-7a or 5p-9p. The position is primarily based at the West Main campus but may require floating to the east or CVI OR.

Experience in NEURO, ORTHO TRAUMA, and KIDNEY TRANSPLANT is required. Skills needed include scrub and/or circulate general surgery, robotics, transplants, ortho, neuro, spine, ENT (primarily head & neck); GYN, Urology, organ procurement, trauma. The OR West consists of 10 operating rooms and focuses on Inpatient Level I Trauma Surgery, caring for patients undergoing a wide variety of surgical procedures including bariatric, neurosurgery, ENT, orthopedic trauma, spine, major plastic reconstruction, robotic surgery, and kidney and liver transplants. Local travelers will not be accepted (cannot reside within 50 mi from the facility).

Orientation is weekly every Monday barring a holiday. IVS with offer. Please provide dates and times available for interview at time of submission. All RTO requests must be presented at time of submission. Travelers who have worked for Beth Israel Lahey Health as perm or per diem within the last six months will not be accepted - MUST be separated from facility for six months to be considered.
