Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg position specializing in stroke and medical patients, requiring 2+ years of acute care experience and an active NY RN license.
Details
- Med/Surg unit in a hospital setting
- Patient population consists primarily of stroke and medical patients
- Every other weekend is required
- Charting is done in Epic
Requirements
- Active NY RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (must be obtained prior to start)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience required
- Stroke care experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Two professional references from a manager or supervisor within the last year required for consideration
- A skills checklist completed within the last 12 months required for consideration

- Any color scrubs are acceptable
