Assembly Worker

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembly Worker to join our production team. This role involves light assembly work requiring the use of various tools, fixtures, and processes. Tasks may remain consistent for days or shift multiple times a day, depending on production demand. Most work is performed while standing, with occasional sitting at a workstation.

Essential Functions:

• Report to the workstation on time and adhere to time tracking requirements.
• Comply with all departmental safety rules, including proper use of PPE and uniform standards.
• Assemble product parts in line with established production guidelines and standards.
• Read and interpret work orders, ensuring all tools and materials are available.
• Use fine motor skills for detailed tasks.
• Utilize and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Meet production quotas on time without compromising safety or quality standards.
• Perform tasks using hand tools, power tools, and production machinery.
• Assemble parts into subassemblies (e.g., bolt, screw, clip, or fasten) while maintaining cleanliness and adhering to 5S standards.
• Inspect and measure finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Improve productivity and efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
• Complete additional job duties and special projects as assigned.

Knowledge of:

• Mechanical skills, including the use of hand and power tools.
• Quality assurance and safety practices.

Ability To / Training Requirements:

• Follow all safety protocols and departmental rules.
• Read and understand written assembly instructions.
• Interpret and use Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Comprehend ISO standards relevant to the position.

Equipment Used:

• Hand Tools: Pliers, screwdrivers, hammers, razor knives, wrenches, tape guns, etc.
• Power Tools: Drills, ratchets, rivet guns, heat guns, pneumatic staplers, etc.

Qualifications:

• Successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Complete a work physical and lift test.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
