Produce high quality food and maintain Jersey Mike’s standards. Deliver the Jersey Mike’s experience in every interaction. Handle cash responsibly. Follow the Learning Management System Training Program. Develop others for career growth. Enforce policies and procedures. Participate in local and national marketing initiatives. Build sales. Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation practices. Be certified in all four restaurant positions. Communicate effectively with management. Show a sense of urgency. Create food consistent with Jersey Mike’s high‑quality standards. Maintain a noticeably cleaner restaurant than others. Work in a fast‑paced, team‑driven atmosphere. Multi‑task with a sense of urgency. Interface with customers and provide an exceptional experience. Understand accountability and integrity. Serve as Key Holder and perform all opening and closing tasks. Bake bread and perform all preparation. Manage and lead a crew of 2 to 5 people. Proficiently slice. Shift Leader Expectations Move or transport up to 50 lbs without assistance unless a medical notation is provided (ADA compliance applies). Work 38‑40 hours per week. Have reliable transportation to and from work. Communicate with the GM/AGM/DM regarding any issues. Lead by example in food quality, customer service, and appearance in a clean, fitted, and pressed uniform daily. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1 year QSR experience preferred. Must be 18 years or older to operate the slicer. Serve Safe Certification – Food Handler. Reliable transportation.
