About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Global Tax to lead and shape its international tax strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding international tax governance, indirect tax oversight, and transfer pricing practices to support business growth and cross-border operations. This role requires a trusted advisor who can translate complex regulatory matters into practical recommendations, ensuring the organization's protection and informed decision-making. Key responsibilities include leading worldwide tax compliance activities, building strong control frameworks, evaluating tax exposure related to expansion efforts, and providing strategic oversight to U.S. sales tax operations. The VP, Global Tax will also be involved in creating and managing a global transfer pricing program, partnering with various leaders to assess tax implications of international activities, and coordinating with external advisors on complex tax matters. Applicants for the VP, Global Tax position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' progressive tax experience, with a focus on international tax matters. Deep knowledge of international corporate income tax, indirect tax rules, and transfer pricing concepts in a multinational setting is essential. The role requires experience in legal entity structuring, nexus analysis, and permanent establishment considerations, as well as a background in both Big 4 public accounting and in-house global industry environments. The ideal candidate will have a JD, LL.M. in Tax, or a comparable credential, and must possess strong communication and influencing skills to effectively engage with senior leaders and business partners. The ability to work independently in a leadership role and set direction with limited existing infrastructure is also a key requirement.
