Manager, Retail Media (173146)

Position Overview As Retail Media Manager, you will be a part of Hill’s Media team and will be primarily responsible for leading the development and execution of retail media strategies and plans to deliver brand objectives. You will manage day‑to‑day relationships with retail media partners and collaborate with shopper marketing, brand and eCommerce teams to align media activations with overall marketing plans. Extensive experience in planning, executing, and reporting on large‑scale full‑funnel paid media campaigns is essential. Responsibilities Develop and execute retail media strategies and plans for each lead customer, aligning with brand and media objectives. Deeply understand the retailer’s plans and overall media landscape, establishing the brand’s role. Partner with shopper marketing teams to sync media plans with shopper initiatives. Collaborate with brand and eCommerce teams to integrate retail media campaigns with broader marketing strategies. Work closely with the retailer’s agency to manage media buys, placements, execution, and optimization. Create audience definitions for each customer’s media plan using data and customer 1P data. Ensure quality assurance of media campaign activations, meeting best practices and contractual details. Optimize campaigns to meet media and brand KPIs. Drive clean‑room use cases to improve efficiencies and derive actionable insights. Maintain a robust reporting framework to track key performance indicators such as sales, share of voice, MMM, ROAS, and audience strategy. Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports, providing concise summaries of campaign performance. Analyze large datasets to uncover trends and recommend data‑driven optimizations. Share findings across retail media teams to build best practices and benchmarks. Serve as the internal subject‑matter expert on retail media, training cross‑functional teams. Stay updated on platform updates, best practices, and industry developments. Participate in joint business planning with retail partners to leverage their advertising capabilities. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Media, or a related field. 5+ years of media experience, including planning, buying, analytics, optimization, and execution. Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of retail media experience. Proven track record of managing significant media budgets and achieving strong ROI. Expert‑level knowledge of major media platforms, including Amazon Ads, Google, and DSPs. Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data from multiple sources to align with business goals. Excellent communication and presentation skills, conveying complex data to non‑technical audiences. Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Proactive, self‑motivated, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability. Familiarity with attribution models and incrementality testing. Compensation and Benefits Salary Range: $109,600.00 – $155,000.00 USD.
