**Join Our Team as a CT Technologist!** **Job Description:** - Are you ready to embark on a fulfilling career in radiology? - As a CT Technologist, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on patient care! - Work under the guidance of the CT Supervisor to deliver high-quality CT examinations. - Your role includes providing exceptional patient care for adults, pediatrics, and neonates. - Become an integral part of our radiology department by utilizing our Radiology Information System. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver age-specific care and foster positive interactions with patients. - Prepare and position patients for scans according to departmental procedures. - Explain procedures and associated risks to patients and their families. - Obtain necessary consent from patients or their legal guardians. - Demonstrate confidence in reassuring and guiding patients through procedures. - Set up and operate equipment needed for specific examinations. - Master CT protocols, sequences, and technical factors to achieve optimal imaging results. - Administer and monitor intravenous (IV) contrast materials as needed. - Provide compassionate care and address patient comfort before, during, and after scans. - Stay alert to monitor patient conditions and respond to emergencies, including activating hospital protocols. - Maintain proficiency in operating all CT scanners to meet diagnostic standards. - Schedule and coordinate exams, ensuring accurate record-keeping in the Radiology Information System. - Assist with clerical duties and maintain an organized workflow. - Uphold patient confidentiality and ensure adherence to safety protocols. - Mentor student technologists and share your knowledge with them. - Meet ongoing education and certification requirements to stay at the forefront of your field. **Working Conditions:** - High engagement in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. - Supportive team-based culture focused on excellence in patient care. **Physical Requirements:** - Ability to stand and move throughout the shift. - Capable of working efficiently in high-stress situations. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
