Golf Course Assistant Superintendent Apprentice

Prestonwood Country Club is seeking a dedicated and career driven Assistant Superintendent Apprentice to join our Golf Course Maintenance team. This position is designed for individuals pursuing a career in golf course and turfgrass management, offering comprehensive, hands‑on experience at a premier multi‑course facility. This individual will have the unique opportunity to train across three different golf courses, each led by its own Golf Course Superintendent. This structure provides exposure to a variety of management styles, course conditions, and operational approaches, creating a well‑rounded and dynamic learning environment. Working closely with the superintendent team, this individual will gain practical experience in all aspects of course maintenance, including turfgrass management, irrigation systems, pest and disease control, course setup, fertilizer and spray applications and equipment operation. Additionally, the role offers valuable experience managing multiple greens grass types, allowing the individual to develop a deeper understanding of differing agronomic practices and playability standards.
