Knowledge of CNC operation and programming a plus.Ability to read and understand blueprints and drawingsProficient in the use of cutting tools and measuring devicesMust pass written MTM testMust pass hands on manual Machinist Assessment1 year of manufacturing/industrial experience or equivalent educationHigh School Diploma or GEDThe position may require rotating 8-hour shift work, which will include Saturdays, Sundays, and holidaysThe position requires overtime work as neededAdherence to safety procedures/guidelines at all timesSafety is our core value which requires you to wear safety protection such as hard hats, safety glasses, hearing protection, protective clothing, boots with metatarsal protection, and when necessary, respirator equipmentThe position requires punctuality, consistent attendance and self-direction for the success of the operationsAdditional preferred skill to understand G&M Codes, Okuma, Mazak CNC controls. Mazak, Okuma and Toyoda CMC Mill or lathe experience a plus.
