Job Summary
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse Corpus Christi, TX. This position involves providing urgent care in a Level II trauma hospital's Emergency Department. The role requires assessing and managing patients with low to moderate acuity, ensuring timely and compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Position Description: Emergency Room (ER) Nurse in a hospital setting, responsible for patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, splinting, IV therapy, lab draws, and documentation.
• Required Qualifications: 2 years of emergency department experience, TNCC or ENPC or PALS certification, ACLS, BLS, great teamwork, compassion, and sense of urgency.
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certifications such as CEN or TCRN, CPI certification, and additional emergency department experience.
• Additional Information: Unit utilizes Meditech electronic medical records, and staff participate in shift huddles at 7am and 7pm. Attire includes royal blue scrubs, with team jerseys for seasonal spirit. Mandatory EMTALA training and unit policies are in place.
