Controls Systems Technician

Dublin, OH 43016 What’s the Job? Perform system commissioning using configuration and commissioning tools for building automation and HVAC control systems. Troubleshoot and resolve basic HVAC mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues. Conduct system diagnostics, calibration, and commissioning documentation for controllers, sensors, and other end devices. Communicate project progress, site updates, and service recommendations to customers and management. Provide solutions to improve facility efficiency and support service-related recommendations and quotations. What’s Needed? Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a related field plus three years of industry experience, OR 4+ years of experience servicing electronic and/or mechanical systems in the HVAC industry. Knowledge of HVAC control systems, facility management systems, equipment installation, and service techniques. Ability to troubleshoot and work with building automation and control systems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to explain mechanical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
