Be the point of contact for referrals and help guide patients through the process from start to finish./ppHere are some of the job duties you will perform:/pulliExhibits outstanding customer service with the patient as a number one priority/liliAnswers the telephone and either responds to inquiry, directs caller to appropriate personnel, or creates a new patient appointment./liliConfirms patients appointments and gives patients the instructions necessary prior to their initial appointment./liliContacts patients regarding their benefits and/or co-pays and coverage information for all outpatient procedures./liliAssures timely response to third party payers requests for additional information./liliCoordinates baseline aspects of our benefit verification or self-pay payment options for all new patients./liliCoordinates with other co-workers and offices to verify referrals and radiography./li/ulpTo be considered for this role, you need to have the following qualifications:/pulliHigh school diploma (or equivalent) and prior experience working in a medical or dental office/liliProven ability to access, input, and retrieve information using a variety of computer programs, including Microsoft Office products/liliDemonstrated level of comfort with and ability to quickly learn new software programs and EMR/li/ulpSome of our preferred qualifications are:/pulliAssociates or Bachelors degree in healthcare administration (or related field)/lili2+ years experience as a patient care/medical office coordinator with patient scheduling, insurance verification billing, and collection experience/liliExperience with medical/dental insurances, ICD-10 coding, data entry, appointment/surgery scheduling/liliExperience with financial counseling in a medical office/li/ul/div
