Yard Supervisor (2nd Shift)

Job ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day production activities on 2nd shiftPromote and champion Zero Harm culture across all operations by ensuring direct reports adhere to safety and environmental policiesDrive ownership and accountability among team members, motivating them to achieve production goals and maintain high standardsAssist in maintaining the Responsible Care 14001 and ISO 9001 Programs including participating in the auditsMaintain knowledge of tie inventory especially as it relates to fulfilling customer ordersCollaborate with operations leadership and frontline workers to drive continuous improvementQualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in wood science, forestry or related preferred3 years of industrial or manufacturing experienceLead experience required; managerial experience preferredSafety, health, and environmental awarenessStrong organizational and communications skillsExperience with Responsible Care 14001 and ISO 9001 programs preferredTeam playerExperience with Microsoft Office ProductsPrior union experience is preferredKoppers Inc. and its subsidiaries are equal opportunity employers.
