Inpatient Gastroenterologist (MD/DO) | Close to South Carolina Beaches

MUSC Health- Florence Medical Center is seeking two board-certified/board-eligible gastroenterologists to form an inpatient-only gastroenterology service. This service will operate on a seven-on-seven off model, focusing on inpatient consults and performing inpatient endoscopy. The team will collaborate with a busy gastroenterology practice that includes one other gastroenterologist and two nurse practitioners and is growing. MUSC Florence is a 396-bed facility that serves as a tertiary care center and has patients referred from all over the region. Florence is centrally located to many desirable locations that are just a short drive away, including Myrtle Beach, SC, Charleston, SC, Columbia, SC, and Charlotte, NC. Florence offers excellent schools, both public and private options, and an affordable cost of living. Commute times to most desirable locations within Florence are no more than 20 minutes or less and excellent weather year-round.

Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible

7 on 7 off schedule

100% Inpatient

ERCP and EUS procedure experience preferred but not mandatory.

Hospitalist and intensivists are primary. GI is a consult only service.

Endoscopy Lab and office conveniently located within steps of one another.
