Location Fremont, CA (On-site/Hybrid depending on company policy) Salary up to $180,000 + Bonus + Benefits *Applicants must be a U.S citizen - eligible to obtain security clearance - defense technology related Senior SDR Software Engineer | Mission Critical Infrastructure | California We're partnering with an innovative engineering company developing next-generation power infrastructure supporting the rapid growth of AI data centres and critical electrical systems. As part of continued expansion, we're looking for an experienced Senior SDR (Software Defined Radio) Software Engineer to join a highly technical engineering team working on complex embedded software, high-performance communications systems and cutting‑edge product development. This is an opportunity to work on challenging projects where you'll have real technical ownership, collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and help shape future products. Responsibilities Design and develop software for SDR-based systems Develop embedded software in C/C++ within Linux environments Optimise high-performance communications software Work closely with FPGA, RF and hardware engineering teams Debug complex software and hardware integration issues Participate in architecture, design reviews and code reviews Support product development from concept through production We're looking for experience with SDR (Software Defined Radio) Embedded software Multi-threaded programming TCP/IP, networking or communications protocols Signal processing or wireless communications Git/version control Debugging complex embedded systems Nice to have GNU Radio RF communications DSP Python scripting Real-time software Networking technologies Why apply?
