Ultrasound Technologist Chesterfield FSER Chippenham Hospital is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist in the Chesterfield FSER role at our Mechanicsville location. The successful candidate will provide high‑quality diagnostic ultrasound services while maintaining a professional, patient‑centered environment. Job Description Obtain high‑quality ultrasound images and adjust scanning protocols as needed. Operate and manage all ultrasound equipment; use independent judgment in complex diagnostic situations. Perform necessary computer operations, including Meditech and PACS, ensuring accurate charges and verification of physician orders. Deliver patient care professionally and courteously. Prepare examination rooms, monitor supplies, and maintain cleanliness. Assist radiology staff with medication administration, biopsies, and additional patient care. Review each exam for technical accuracy and complete the PACS verification process. Assist the Facility System Administrator and Ultrasound Supervisor with PACS clean‑up tasks. Maintain ongoing educational requirements. Safeguard confidentiality of employee and patient information per policy and procedure. Qualifications Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start. Vocational school graduate credential.
