Position Summary & About The Role Cane & Barrel is seeking experienced front‑of‑house servers who thrive in a high‑volume, upscale‑casual environment. Located on our vibrant rooftop in downtown St. Pete, this role requires a blend of polished professionalism, high energy, and exceptional hospitality. Managed by OTO Development, this position offers the exciting, fast‑paced atmosphere of a premier rooftop venue backed by the stability, structure, and excellent benefits of a national corporate leader. Key Responsibilities Adhere to all sanitation, safety, and alcohol service protocol Consistently hold a friendly, relaxing, and courteous demeanor that makes guests feel comfortable to ensure satisfaction Transmit orders to bar and kitchen by recording guests' choices and give knowledgeable recommendations as necessary Keep the kitchen staff informed on times, updates, or any changes that need to be made to guests’ orders Serve orders by picking up and delivering guests' choices from the kitchen/bar and deliver accompaniments and condiments as needed Issue bills & collect payment, including room charges, credit card payments, or cash payments with correct change returned Assist other servers as needed Position Requirements Professional, motivated, and driven individual Enjoy working with all types of people from all walks of life Ability to multi‑task and work in a fast‑paced environment Familiarity with taking orders from guests, serving food, clean‑up and routine side‑work, special event set up/service, and assistance with food preparation Must be able to work nights and weekends Able to stand and be on your feet for long periods of time and can lift and maneuver heavy trays Physical Requirements For This Position This is a physically demanding position. You must be comfortable standing, sitting, walking, bending, lifting, and squatting for extended periods of time.
