Description

Nevada Fertility Center is looking for a temporary, full-time, Pre/Post Operative, RN. We are looking for someone who would love to be part of an amazing team that helps people achieve their dreams of having a baby! This is a temporary role with an anticipated duration of six months.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assist in OR/PACU
• Documents patient care services by charting on patient and department records. Uses clinical computer software
• Responsible for all required labs and procedures are completed and documented according to protocols
• Provides patient counseling and education
• Ensure quality and quantity of materials provided to patients
• Ability to communicate accurately and concisely
• Communicate physician orders and instructions to patients
• Cover weekend/holidays as required
• Coordination of services with affiliate providers
• Conduct medication/injection instructions
• Acts as clinical resource for support staff
• Interacts with physicians, counselors, embryologists, sonographers, medical assistants, lab staff, financial staff, and administrative staff for delivery of high-quality patient care.
• Complete all required trainings as designated
• Maintain active licensure and certifications as applicable
• Demonstrates understanding of providing cost effective care
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Other duties as assigned

Education and training/ experience:

• Must have High School diploma
• Bachelors Degree in nursing or graduate of accredited school of Nursing
• Preferred 2 years of experience in an area of women's health
• Must have ACLS/BLS Training

Competencies:

• Must have high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
• Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, and presentations software
• Ability to remain calm and respond appropriately to all stressful situations

Physical Demands:

• Sitting and standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, squatting
