Position Overview: Provides direct nursing care in a perioperative and orthopedic surgical setting, ensuring patient safety and well-being. Key Responsibilities Implement, monitor, and communicate patient care plans and condition updates. Coordinate multidisciplinary team efforts for seamless patient care. Follow physician and nursing orders accurately. Assess and facilitate discharge planning in collaboration with healthcare team members. Qualifications Licensed Registered Nurse credential from the Alabama Board of Nursing, obtained prior to employment. BLS certification within one month of hire, from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross. Diploma from an accredited nursing school or college.
