RTU & Split-System Change-Out Technician (Commercial)

Hillside Heating & A/C, Inc. – Riverside, CAAre you the go-to person for clean, efficient commercial change-outs?We’re an established HVAC contractor focused on retrofit replacement work, tenant improvements, duct alterations, rooftop units, and split systems. If you like solving field challenges and keeping projects on schedule, this role is for you.You will:Install commercial RTUs, split systems, heat pumps, and associated equipmentExecute equipment change-outs and retrofit replacementsModify and fit ductwork, transitions, and curb adaptorsRead plans and adjust to field conditionsCoordinate crane lifts, deliveries, and crew activitiesMaintain safe, orderly jobsitesCommunicate professionally with the office and customersMentor apprentices and mid-level installersRely on consistent commercial work with an experienced support teamYou have:5+ years of HVAC install experienceA valid driver’s licenseReliability, integrity, and a strong work ethicThe ability to work solo or with a crewIt’s a plus if you have:Commercial retrofit backgroundLead installer experienceHands-on rooftop unit replacementsSheet metal/duct modification skillsPay & Benefits$34–$46/hr DOECompany vehicle for qualified candidatesPaid time offSteady year-round workloadGrowth opportunityWhy join Hillside?Established company with a steady backlogProfessional work environmentMostly retrofit (not large new construction)Pathway to leadershipMachines & TechnologiesHVAC SystemsReady to talk?
