Loader In Training-2nd shift | Cooler & Freezer

Position Overview Keep our communities fed. Compensation & Schedule Base pay $17/hour + $1.50 cooler freezer pay + $0.75 shift differential (4:00 p.m.–4:00 a.m.) 2nd shift, full-time, start time 4:30 p.m. until completion; schedule 5 days on/2 days off (facility closed on Saturday) Location: 3100 Holcombe Blvd., Houston, Texas 77021 Responsibilities Load full pallets of merchandise into trailers and ensure damage is avoided. Operate forklift and pallet jack. Inspect trailer for damage before loading. Utilize RF handhelds and/or voice to verify loading of pallets. Wrap pallet and stretch wrap. Operate battery changing hoist. Keep work area clean. Complete inspection forms on operated equipment. Perform other job‑related duties as assigned. Special Skills: Demonstrates commitment and ability to work safely, shows reliability and maintains satisfactory attendance, produces quality work, maintains required productivity/work expectations, operates required material handling equipment. Physical abilities: Must be able to balance, sit, climb up to 4 ft, use fall protection training, climb, crawl, kneel, talk, feel, fingering, grip and carry up to 60 lbs, lift up to 60 lbs, stoop, pivot, reach, stand, walk on carpet, tile, concrete; handle hearing, seeing, and repetitive movements using both hands and feet.
