Registered Nurse - PCU/Medsurg/Tele

Located in New York

This is a 13-week contract position.

Day shift, 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Join our team as a Registered Nurse in a Certified Stroke Center, providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment with an average daily census of 23 patients. This role encompasses care for a diverse range of patient diagnoses, including cardiac, respiratory, COVID, infectious diseases, and post-operative care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and manage care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient progress and conditions.
• Assist in managing complex cases and emergency situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
• Current New York RN license in hand.
• Certification in ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS required.
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement.
• PCU training preferred.
