Senior Advisor, CAT/CFO with Security Clearance

Precise Systems is hiring an Advisor, Senior to support a U.S. Navy customer in providing readiness and sustainment support to improve operational availability and mission effectiveness while controlling cost and optimizing constrained resources. This role involves developing strategic direction, vision, and mission for the program and providing insight, advice, and decision‑support products that influence complex efforts. Responsibilities Serve as a senior advisor to the Government and provide support to the customer on program/project operations. Determine the adequacy and acceptability of evolving program/project plans and change management strategies, shaping processes and operations to improve the customer’s business methodology. Apply knowledge of business management principles, organizational structures, and information management techniques to formulate long‑term and short‑term management plans designed to achieve desired outcomes. Analyze existing business, operational, and financial processes and management relationships. Identify and recommend programmatic approaches to re‑define, plan, organize, design, develop, and modify current practices and processes. Develop program/project plans, guidelines, and controls. Qualifications Broad scope of expertise sufficient to support an entire domain of client operations—maintenance & supply chain management, total force management. Education Requirements Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems management, mathematics, physics, operations research, statistics, or engineering from an accredited college or university, or equivalent specialized experience. Allowable substitution: six years of additional related work experience. Experience Requirements Fifteen (15) years of related experience, including twelve (12) years of direct experience in the following concentration area: CAT/CFO—supporting the PPB&E/POM cycle, Cost Performance Index (CPI), Schedule Performance Index (SPI) and Execution Index (EI), O&S/enabler cost accounts, and the Strategic Cost Management (SCM) tools and models in use by OPNAV N83. Prior military experience as a commissioned officer and/or senior‑level DoD government experience (GS 14‑15, O5‑O6) may be considered favorably. Clearance & Citizenship Must have an active DoD Secret clearance or higher. Must be a U.S. citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
