Travel Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist - $2,540 per week

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Wausau, Wisconsin. The role entails performing cognitive evaluations, bedside swallow evaluations, and potentially delivering GSA hours for experienced therapists. The position is suitable for professionals seeking a 13-week contract starting in September 2026. Job Details Position Description: Speech Therapist in an inpatient setting, providing adult patient services including cognitive assessments and swallowing evaluations. Certifications and Education: Active Wisconsin licensure, CCC-A or CCC-SLP, Masters degree in speech language pathology. Experience Requirement: Minimum of 6 months to 1 year preferred. Schedule: Days, 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Additional Information: Minimum of 1 year clinical experience. Adult patient focus with cognitive and bedside swallow assessments. Scrub color any color. Contract eligible for 36 hours of unbillable low census hours. Travelers may be placed on call for low census hours, which counts toward unbillable hours. During flu season, unvaccinated travelers must wear masks at all times; non-compliance results in corrective action. GSA hours are not guaranteed during orientation week for experienced therapists. No on-call or weekend/holiday rotation requirements. Must be outside 50 miles from the facility.
