Intake Specialist

The Intake Specialist is responsible for the intake process at the facility, liaises with the remote admissions team, and establishes professional rapport with clients to ensure they feel welcomed upon arrival. Days are Wednesday - Saturday. Hours are 4:00pm - 2:00am. Essential Functions Liaise with client/family of potential admissions to address any questions or concerns. Coordinate facility tours with clients and families who are potential admissions. Interface with remote admissions team and on‑site clinical team for necessary approvals, planning for client arrival, and travel arrangements as applicable. Establish professional rapport with clients to ensure they feel welcomed upon arrival. Support arrival process, including coordinating assessment and bed placement, and searching client belongings/person for prohibited items. Orients clients to the facility/milieu. Liaise with direct care, nursing, and clinical team to ensure clients are set up with a treatment plan/schedule as needed. Ensure intake paperwork is completed in a timely fashion and documentation is maintained as required. Discuss client’s financial responsibility and take payment as applicable. Provide exceptional customer service in line with Acadia Healthcare standards. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Benefits Hourly rate is negotiable depending on years of experience, education, and other factors. The general hourly pay range for this role is $14‑$17.87, with a $2 per hour shift differential for night hours. Excellent communication and customer service skills, and the ability to use required computer programs. Licenses / Designations / Certifications De‑escalation training, CPR and/or First‑Aid certification as required by facility.
