Surgical Services department is seeking a CVOR Tech. Candidate will assist in surgical procedures in the cardiovascular operating room. Experience with CVOR, spine, orthopedics, vascular, general surgery, and robotics cases is required. The facility has 20 operating rooms performing 40-50 cases per day. The position requires the ability to float as needed to meet facility needs. Weekend coverage will be required only as needed. On-call duties may be required as needed for the department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiovascular case skills and experience. Proper professional certifications including BLS and NBSTSA are mandatory. Candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and professional practices in the operating room. Previous travel experience is preferred but not mandatory. Detailed knowledge of sterilization and disinfection processes is essential.

Must-Have: - Required Work Setting Experience: CVOR, General OR, Hybrid OR - Required Cardiovascular Case Skills/Experience: Aortic Aneurysm repair, Atrial Septal defect repair, Cardiomyoplasty, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, Endovascular Aortic Repair, Mitral valve replacement, Pericardial window, Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement, Ventricular Assist Device - Required Vascular Case Skills/Experience: Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair, Arteriovenous fistula repair, Carotid angioplasty, Carotid artery stenting, Carotid Endarterectomy, Endovascular Aneurysm Repair, Femoral popliteal bypass graft, Laparoscopic assisted cases, Thoracic Endovascular Aortic Repair, Vein stripping - Required Thoracic Case Skills/Experience: Laparoscopic assisted cases, Lung resection, Thoracotomy, Video-Assisted Thoracic Surgery - Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Aseptic Technique, Isolation Precautions, Laser Safety, Clienttion Safety, Sharps Safety, Specimen Handling and labeling, Sterilization and Disinfection, Universal Protocol

Experience: 2 years License: Pending State License accepted Certifications: BLS and NBSTSA required
