System Engineer OpportunityChiron Technology Services, Inc. currently has a System Engineer career opportunity in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.Capabilities:Contributes to the development of sections of systems engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements specifications, and Interface Control DocumentsPerform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendationsAssist in performing systems engineering activities in the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process AreasAssist in developing a new or innovative approach to a technical or engineering issueAssist in conducting an evaluation to determine its suitability for project implementationAnalyze and propose appropriate engineering standards and processes for a projectSupervise or coordinate the work of other contractor engineers or technicians on a projectLead contractor systems engineering activities for a project to include supervising the work of the project engineering staff and techniciansIndependently make decisions regarding engineering issues and methodology for a projectBrief stakeholders and present the status on all technical aspects of their projectQualifications:Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Fifteen (15) years' experience as SE on large systems of which three (3) years must be in the Cloud environment.
