Our goal is to provide safe and comfortable homes that are welcomed in their communities.We actively promote wellness of body, mind, and spirit by providing an enriching environment of opportunities for all of our residents.Currently, we have Full-Time, Part Time and Sleep Shift positions in our community living support program with varying hours. We have 8hr shifts and 10hr and 12hr shifts based on the needs of the client. We make every effort to work around your schedule.Looking for afternoon staff as well.Must be able to work some weekend shifts.Must be able to communicate effectively and professionallyYou must have reliable transportation and valid driver's licenseYou must pass drug, alcohol, employment, criminal background, and Motor Vehicle checks as a condition of contract employment.Have a high school diploma or GEDMust be able to lift 50 poundsLocations Include: Farmington, Farmington Hills, Southfield, Royal Oak, NoviEssential Functions:Meal preparation, laundry, light household chores.Activities of daily living (such as bathing, grooming, dressing, etc.).Keep Consumers safe and continue to monitor health and safety.Complete documentation requirements (i.e. Progress notes, data logs, timesheets, etc) which reflect goals and objectives worked on with Consumers.Encourage Consumers, where appropriate, to engage in recreational, entertainment or educational activities, such as games, reading, movies, outdoor activities, arts and crafts, etc.Participation and assistance at medical appointments.Transportation AbilityKnowledge of Culture of Gentleness/Gentle TeachingOthers duties as assigned.Qualifications include:Must be able to communicate effectively and professionallyYou must have reliable transportation and valid driver's licenseYou must pass drug, alcohol, employment, criminal background, and Motor Vehicle checks as a condition of contract employment.Have a high school diploma or GEDMust be able to lift 50 poundsRequired training:Recipient RightsBloodborne PathogensCPR/First AidEmergency PreparednessCultural CompetencyMedicationLimited English ProficiencyPerson Centered Planning processIntroduction to Human ServicesHIPAADue ProcessBasic Documentation
